Editorial policy
Fast production, explicit human accountability.
Reticular uses software and AI to speed up research organization, drafting, structured data, and quality checks. Humans remain accountable for source verification, medical judgment, approval, and corrections.
Policy last updated July 12, 2026.
Review is based on claim risk
Each substantive claim is assigned a review lane based on risk. Review is complete only when the exact wording, sources, required reviewer, date, and status are recorded. A profile shows review eligibility; it does not establish that someone reviewed a specific page.
R0
Operational
Product scope, process, access, and disclaimer language without clinical interpretation.
Named operational content owner; no clinical review required.
R1
Established education
Definitions and general education that do not compare interventions or interpret outcomes.
Qualified subject-matter reviewer.
R2
Clinical evidence and interpretation
Clinical comparisons, evidence synthesis, and population-specific interpretation.
Qualified genetic counselor or clinician with relevant subject-matter expertise.
R3
Patient-specific or treatment-directed
Patient- or embryo-specific, diagnostic, prognostic, or treatment-directed content.
Qualified physician or appropriate specialist under an approved clinical workflow; Reticular has no in-house R3 reviewer.
Evidence standards
- 1Prefer peer-reviewed research, professional-society guidance, regulators, and primary technical documentation.
- 2Cite the source nearest the claim it supports and preserve uncertainty, population limits, and study design.
- 3Treat AI output as drafting assistance, never as a source. A human must verify every substantive citation.
- 4Record the author, reviewer when applicable, review date, and material update date on the individual page.
How AI is used
AI may outline, rewrite, classify, compare versions, suggest internal links, and check structure. It may not supply unverified evidence, invent a citation, approve a medical claim, or substitute for a required reviewer.
Corrections and updates
Material corrections should be dated on the affected page. We prioritize changes that could alter a reader's understanding of risk, uncertainty, or next steps. Report a concern at contact@reticular.ai.
Reticular content is educational and does not diagnose a condition, recommend treatment, or replace a physician or genetic counselor. See the authors and reviewers directory. See the approved service boundaries currently published through this process.
